Exclusive: Life On The Sideline EP announcement, music video premiere

Since releasing Honesty Is A Dying Breed two years ago, Life On The Sideline has remained active on the road and is now ready to unveil its upcoming EP, Never Settle. To kick things off, we're premiering the music video for the band's new single, "Echo", which tells the sad story of a young girl reminiscing times spent with her deceased partner. While not a pop punk song per se, it's as catchy as one with an infectious chorus that you'll inevitably get stuck in your head. The band's sound could be compared to that of Transit's and The Early November's. Fans can pre-order the EP on iTunes and CD here, before it's released on June 7th. […]

We Are The Union Pull Out of Pre-Fest Mini Tour

We Are The Union will no longer be playing Such Gold's pre-Fest mini tour due to guitarist, Ricky, having to attend a mandatory court date. The band will still be playing the Fest itself. The band's former trombone player will also be joining them at 8 Seconds. Click the Read More… link to read the statement.

We are unfortunately not going to be playing any of the pre or post-fest dates we had lined up with Such Gold, Koji and Last Call between October 24th and November 2nd.
Ricky has a mandatory court date this week, and given the nature of the situation, we can’t stay out of town for too long. Our only option is to drive straight to and from Gainesville. We are bummed to miss the tour dates, but stoked that we are still able to play The Fest itself.

Now that we’re done with the bad news, we are excited to announce that our former trombone player Matt Belanger will be joining us for our set at 8 Seconds. We are pretty confident that our set is going to be a fun-filled fiesta, so come hang out between No Trigger and Polar Bear Club on Friday night at 8 Seconds.

Also, if you haven’t yet, check out our new digital EP, Graveyard Grins, in the paperandplastick.com webstore!
Thanks, see you suckers this weekend!
