Upstate, NY's Cross Check is returning with its second effort, titled Adversity, on May 5th--and better than ever. It's common for young bands to find success in taking on a sound that's similar to whoever's big at the time, but Cross Check has taken a slightly different path, sounding more like they'd fit in the early 2000s scene.
