Exclusive: Life On The Sideline EP announcement, music video premiere

Since releasing Honesty Is A Dying Breed two years ago, Life On The Sideline has remained active on the road and is now ready to unveil its upcoming EP, Never Settle. To kick things off, we're premiering the music video for the band's new single, "Echo", which tells the sad story of a young girl reminiscing times spent with her deceased partner. While not a pop punk song per se, it's as catchy as one with an infectious chorus that you'll inevitably get stuck in your head. The band's sound could be compared to that of Transit's and The Early November's. Fans can pre-order the EP on iTunes and CD here, before it's released on June 7th. […]

We recently made some new friends in Boston's Rebuilder, and we'd like for you to get to know the band and its new album, Rock & Roll In America, a little better. Interview: Second To Last

Second To Last has seen some recent change, but a new direction has not slowed the band down in the slightest. They've released new music for the fourth straight year, albeit slightly different from older material. I had the chance to ask Tyson Evans a few questions about his band, their new direction, and what we can expect from Second To Last during the remainder of 2013. Exclusive: Senses Fail Interview

New Jersey's post-hardcore veterans, Senses Fail, are gearing up to release their fifth full-length, titled Renacer [Spanish for "to be reborn"], on March 26th, and for many of us the excitement is at an all-time high. As the new singles have proven, the band has taken a different approach this time around, but it's nothing short of remarkably limitless. Below you'll find my conversation with frontman Buddy Nielsen, where we discuss the album, touring with younger bands, working outside of Senses Fail, and his side-project, Bayonet. Pre-orders for Renacer can be found here (physical) and here (digital).

Interview: Lost Years

Last year this band put out one of the most overlooked and underrated albums with their effort called This Year Brought Out The Worst In Me. Not only was that record the best titled album you'd find all year, but it was also among the best albums to be released in 2012. I convinced Ryan Davis to take a few minutes from writing their follow up to last year's record and answer some questions for me about their plans for 2013.

Interview: Hot Damn

The collective voice of the pop punk scene within the UK has grown and become more boisterous in recent years, constructing a bold relevance within the general flourishing scene. One of the bands which are set to cement themselves within these paves in the near future are South Wales natives Hot Damn. With two EPs and a split under their belts, the Welsh young hopefuls are set to seize the attentions of the masses with the new 8-song EP. I spoke with frontman Chris Evans to pick at the brain and gain a glimpse into a band at the height of what is set to be the band's prolific year yet.

Interview: Fingers Crossed

In general when someone thinks of Houston, they don't typically think of their Punk music scene, in fact most people probably try not to think of Houston at all. One of the sole gems from that city's musical community is the band Fingers Crossed. A band that has seen adversity at every turn for over 5 years, but managed to shake off the constant negativity and this year finally released their first full-length record, Dedos Crusados. Vocalist/guitarist Andrew MaClaren agreed to sit down and answer some questions for me.

Post Season have been selected as the first part of our 52-week-long collaboration with Unbuckled Records as we launch the Tumblr page for our project. Exclusive: Stickup Kid Interview

California is no strange place to talented bands, but Stickup Kid is on another level. The band recently wowed their fans with the release of the Nothing About Me EP on Adeline Records, which was co-founded by Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong. Stickup Kid is not your typical Pop Punk band, offering much more depth and diversity in their music. The band has already begun demoing for their next full-length, as I discussed with the band's bassist, Jonathan McMaster. If you haven't already, make sure to stream the EP in full below or grab the vinyl here.

The Melbourne Pop Punk scene in Australia is thriving, being of the most prominent areas in the country and the home to bands such as The Playbook, Apart From This, and Up And Atom. A new song called Copouts And Cover Ups can also be found below, along with my interview with Dustin and Michael D of the band where we discuss the band's recent activity, including a mini track-by-track guide for the new songs.
