Recently various rumours had been stirring on the Internet, stating that the upcoming Australian music festival, Soundwave Revolution, had been cancelled. Suspicion began after the purported second line-up announcement, initially scheduled for August 1st, never surfaced. Promoter AJ Maddah has now addressed and confirmed the rumours in a recent interview. Set Your Goals, Four Year Strong, The Swellers, and Make Do And Mend were set to play the national festival, among others. An official statement is yet to be made. It was a very difficult decision to make, we could have just pushed on with the lineup we had which would have been a better financial option for us, but we didnt want to put an inferior product on the market.   |
