Every now and then I come across certain bands that I feel anxiously compelled to share with others, and Neck Deep is a prime example of this idea. Being part of such an over-saturated genre, it can be challenging for Pop Punk bands to stand out and leave a lasting impression, but this Wales, UK quintet accomplish that with almost no struggle. Rain In July is their stellar debut release, which embraces a refreshing sense of honesty and passion with an outstanding level of musicianship - these songs really won't be done enough justice until heard on a quality set of speakers or headphones. I predict a very bright future for the band, so listen up and enjoy! Exclusive: Life On The Sideline EP announcement, music video premiere
Since releasing Honesty Is A Dying Breed two years ago, Life On The Sideline has remained active on the road and is now ready to unveil its upcoming EP, Never Settle. To kick things off, we're premiering the music video for the band's new single, "Echo", which tells the sad story of a young girl reminiscing times spent with her deceased partner. While not a pop punk song per se, it's as catchy as one with an infectious chorus that you'll inevitably get stuck in your head.
