Exclusive: Life On The Sideline EP announcement, music video premiere

Since releasing Honesty Is A Dying Breed two years ago, Life On The Sideline has remained active on the road and is now ready to unveil its upcoming EP, Never Settle. To kick things off, we're premiering the music video for the band's new single, "Echo", which tells the sad story of a young girl reminiscing times spent with her deceased partner. While not a pop punk song per se, it's as catchy as one with an infectious chorus that you'll inevitably get stuck in your head. The band's sound could be compared to that of Transit's and The Early November's. Fans can pre-order the EP on iTunes and CD here, before it's released on June 7th. […]

Casting Call Guitarist Leaves the Band, Announce Final Show and Indefinite Hiatus

Following the departure of Casting Call's vocalist/songwriter, their guitarist, Alex Gelles, has now also left the band. The band will be playing a final show at RVP Studios: The Cave in West Haven, CT on October 19th before going on an indefinite hiatus. Storm The Bay, Bright And Early, Giants At Large, and Batten Down The Hatches will also be playing, among others. Click the Read More… link to read the statement.

It's with a heavy heart that we tell you that Alex has decided to leave Casting Call. He is currently working on some new material, and we wish him all the best. He will be greatly missed by all of us; especially his face-melting guitar solos.
His last show will be October 19th at RVP Studios: The Cave.

We understand that this is another heavy blow to the band's core. And after the show, Casting Call will be entering a hiatus for a few months. Hopefully reemerging in the late Spring or Summer.

We'd like for all our friends to come out to our last show for 1 last Hoorah! It's going to be one hell of a show.
