Exclusive: Life On The Sideline EP announcement, music video premiere

Since releasing Honesty Is A Dying Breed two years ago, Life On The Sideline has remained active on the road and is now ready to unveil its upcoming EP, Never Settle. To kick things off, we're premiering the music video for the band's new single, "Echo", which tells the sad story of a young girl reminiscing times spent with her deceased partner. While not a pop punk song per se, it's as catchy as one with an infectious chorus that you'll inevitably get stuck in your head. The band's sound could be compared to that of Transit's and The Early November's. Fans can pre-order the EP on iTunes and CD here, before it's released on June 7th. […]

Throwback: Four Year Strong - "Bada Bing! Wit' A Pipe!" Music Video

Remember when Four Year Strong ruled the rising pop punk/hardcore niche? We all do, and while I can still appreciate the band's more radio-friendly sound that they surprised us with on their latest album, In Some Way, Shape, Or Form. (2011), which also followed the departure of core member, Josh Lyford. Sometimes it just pays to reminisce and re-visit the classics. The band's second single, "Bada Bing! Wit' A Pipe!", received a great music video, which sees the band members playing a group of.. interesting characters. Most importantly, the song was featured on the band's 2008 breakthrough album, Rise Or Die Trying. Formulating a unique sound (laced with catchy choruses, metal riffs, breakdowns, gang vocals, and synths) that would go on to influence a wave of bands, there's no denying that Four Year Strong's hit albums will always have a special place in our hearts, whether you still enjoy them now or not.

What are some other albums that take you down memory lane?
