Exclusive: Life On The Sideline EP announcement, music video premiere

Since releasing Honesty Is A Dying Breed two years ago, Life On The Sideline has remained active on the road and is now ready to unveil its upcoming EP, Never Settle. To kick things off, we're premiering the music video for the band's new single, "Echo", which tells the sad story of a young girl reminiscing times spent with her deceased partner. While not a pop punk song per se, it's as catchy as one with an infectious chorus that you'll inevitably get stuck in your head. The band's sound could be compared to that of Transit's and The Early November's. Fans can pre-order the EP on iTunes and CD here, before it's released on June 7th. […]

After being in Yellowcard for 18 years, this will definitely be a new experience for me. The last 18 years with Yellowcard has played a big role in who I am today. I am excited to begin this new adventure with my best friend Ben Harper and re-unite in a new musical endeavor together. I'm stoked to embark on this journey with one of my inspirations, El Hefe of NOFX, and I feel This Legend is a perfect fit for the Cyber Tracks family. Jen and Hefe have been very supportive throughout my new transition and I feel we've created a solid team. I can't wait to start writing again. Thank you to my fans for sticking by my side throughout all of this. See you on the road very soon! - LP
"I used to chill with LP and Ben back in my Warped Tour days. Their level of musicianship has impressed me over the years, so it's no doubt this will be a great album," says El Hefe, with Jen adding, "I'm confident of what's to come from this new collaboration. It's a fresh approach and I feel that we've created the perfect team in a family environment. Chris is a phenomenal songwriter, and from the demos I've heard so far, I anticipate this to be a killer record."
