Exclusive: Life On The Sideline EP announcement, music video premiere
Since releasing Honesty Is A Dying Breed two years ago, Life On The Sideline has remained active on the road and is now ready to unveil its upcoming EP, Never Settle. To kick things off, we're premiering the music video for the band's new single, "Echo", which tells the sad story of a young girl reminiscing times spent with her deceased partner. While not a pop punk song per se, it's as catchy as one with an infectious chorus that you'll inevitably get stuck in your head. With every release we've seen so far, there is no doubt that 2013 has proven to become "the year of the split". What is so interesting about the different kind of collaborations that have been released within the last couple of months, is that you can definitely notice the complimenting dynamics that two separate bands bring to the table; providing listeners with the best of both worlds to fulfill their musical satisfactions. In the month of May, the Pennsylvania-based label Reveille Records introduces us with a split featuring one of their showcased acts Boxer, who team up with Eyes Wide.

Boxer and Eyes Wide Announce Upcoming Split EP Details, Release New Songs
Boxer and Eyes Wide will be releasing their previously-announced split EP on May 7th through Reveille Records. Boxer recorded their half with with Will Yip (Title Fight, Daylight, Citizen), while Eyes Wide worked with Vince Ratti (The Wonder Years, Valencia). CDs can be pre-ordered here, while vinyl copies will be out this summer. Both bands have also released a new song each, titled "Contemp" and "Gem", respectively. Boxer and Eyes Wide Announce Upcoming Split
Boxer (VA) and Eyes Wide (PA) have announced plans to release an upcoming 6-song split. Boxer will be entering the studio this weekend in Pennsylvania with Will Yip (Title Fight, Blacklisted, Circa Survive), while Eyes Wide will record with Vince Ratti (The Wonder Years, Valencia) on October 13th.
