Since releasing Honesty Is A Dying Breed two years ago, Life On The Sideline has remained active on the road and is now ready to unveil its upcoming EP, Never Settle. To kick things off, we're premiering the music video for the band's new single, "Echo", which tells the sad story of a young girl reminiscing times spent with her deceased partner. While not a pop punk song per se, it's as catchy as one with an infectious chorus that you'll inevitably get stuck in your head. Set Your Goals announce East Coast anniversary shows for "Mutiny!"
Set Your Goals have announced three East Coast shows for the ten-year anniversary of Mutiny!, with support from Misser, Like Pacific, Can't Swim, and Search Party. Tickets go on sale August 9th. The shows will include two sets: the first for Mutiny! and the second for songs from other releases. More shows and a vinyl reissue are also on the way. Set Your Goals have never over-used breakdowns or hook-laden choruses, and instead let their Californian roots shine by steering towards a more melodic hardcore sound, though the pop punk influence is just as audible.
